Mindfulness Based Core Process Psychotherapy

My approach is embodied and relational, shaped by deep respect for indigenous practices and systems of knowledge while grounded in contemporary psychotherapeutic understanding.

I have been working ceremonially with plant medicines since 2004 — in medicine sweat lodges, vision quests, multiple-night honouring dances and traditional ceremony. I have learnt from indigenous Wixárika, Native American Church, Huni Kuin, Yawanawa, Shuar and Red Path traditions, and from Mexican, Colombian, North American and Western teachers. Since 2010 I have helped facilitate in ceremony. I am a Vision Quester, Sundancer, Pipe Carrier and initiated Sweat Lodge leader.

This experience informs what I bring to client work — particularly in meeting trauma, difficult material, and the intensity that can follow powerful experiences.
